Class Tools

Since I already took Indian Epics before, I'm pretty familiar with all of the class tools and technology. The tools you really get familiar with are blogging and website publishing. Blogging is where you do all of your daily blog posts and then the website is where you will publish your official stories for the project. I loved being able to use the different features on both sites to make my whole layout look more cool, and more aesthetic.

I think the most helpful of the course websites is the daily announcement. It helps keep you on track of what day it is and also has some cool videos or new stories posted by people that you can see and can use for extra credit commenting.

Hello Everyone! My name is Shivani Patel. This is my second time taking a class with Laura Gibbs. I took the Indian Epics class last fall and I loved it so I am excited to take this Myth and Folklore class this semester. I am from Clinton, OK but I'm happy to say that my family left the small town life behind and moved to Oklahoma City this summer. So I guess I can officially say I'm from OKC now. I was born in India but moved here with my family to the United State when I was about five years old. I am a 5th year senior Psychology major with a minor in Sociology. I'm graduating this December! My name is Kweku Tsin, and my father is Anansi. People call him Father Anansi because he has all the wisdom in the world. For this very reason, people come to him to ask for help with their problems. I believe my Father is a smart man, but he also lets it get to his head sometimes. I watched from the side as he talk to some people. I find it fascinating that he always knows what's the best solution. Usually he's always calm and collected, but today he seems troubled.
