Tech Tip: DuckDuckGo

I checked out the search engine DuckDuckGo. I think it's a cool alternative to Google. It doesn't store your personal information and I think that's so nice. Google has access to a lot of your information because you can use Google to sign-in to so many websites now. And sometimes that information can be compromised so I think DuckDuckGo is a really cool alternative search engine.

Hello Everyone! My name is Shivani Patel. This is my second time taking a class with Laura Gibbs. I took the Indian Epics class last fall and I loved it so I am excited to take this Myth and Folklore class this semester. Sometimes Marine wondered what it would be like to live in world outside of the monastery. But mostly, he wondered what it would be like to live his life as a woman. Because Marine in fact was a she, not a he.  A long time ago, Marine’s mother died and then her father entered a monastery and made Marine change her whole way of life. She was the only daughter but because they were to live in a monastery now, she had to pretend to be a boy. For 27 years, Marine kept up the charade.
