Topic Research: Greek Mythology
For the Storybook project, I decided to go to with Greek Mythology. I haven't decided yet what to title it. However, I know I want to center it mainly around the 12 Olympians. I think I'll have the lesser known gods and goddesses as well in it. I've found quite a bit of reading material I can use to help me build this storybook. Some of the ones that I found and really liked are these three.
1. Dialogues of the Gods by Lucian
I really liked this source because it actually shows the gods and goddesses talking to each in just dialogues so I think I could use this as inspiration for my own dialogues I would use in my stories.
2. Greek Gods, Heroes, and Men by Caroline H. and Samuel B. Harding
I also really like this source because there are individual chapters for each god and goddess. Each chapter gives a lot of information about the god so it would be really useful in building a personality or background on the character.
3. Old Greek Stories by James Baldwin
This source has old Greek stories about some famous Greek myths such as Prometheus and Medusa, so I think I could find some really useful material from these stories.
